Saif al-Islam, son of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi said in an interview with French television that the Western countries are doomed to fail in its military campaign, which aims to overthrow Gaddafi and air raids against government forces make them "legitimate targets."

Saif al-Islam told the station TF1 French TV special that his father does not intend to leave the country as part of negotiations to end the conflict with opponents who want to end his nearly forty years.



Asked if he had a message to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, one of the driving forces behind the Western intervention in Libya, Saif al-Islam "will not gain the no you have no chance The opportunity to gain the war here.

And an international warrant was issued for the arrest of Saif al-Islam, like his father on charges of crimes against humanity for his role in the killing of civilians demanding the resignation of Gaddafi.


Saif al-Islam said the Libyan authorities are ready to make concessions on some of the Western demands, but will fight to Libya.


"We want democracy, we are ready. We want elections are ready. Why do you want a new constitution? We are ready. Ceasefire .. we are ready. But the other side rejects all the time.


"But tell that to my parents leave the country, it's a joke.'ll Never give up. We will fight it our country.


"We have to fight for our country and you will be legitimate targets for us."
