The Executive Director of the electricity and gas company of Algeria (Sonelgaz) Noureddine Bouterfa that the renewable energy program sponsored by his country will cost about $ 120 billion until 2030.
He said that the National Programme for Renewable Energies which was ratified by the government last week will direct $ 60 billion and 70 billion dollars to develop the technology and industrial base locally from internal funds, to monitor the other half of foreign investment in the partnership.
The program aims to produce 22 thousand megawatts, went 12 thousand megawatts, of which to the national market, and 10 thousand megawatts for export, provided that the partners commit to Algeria funded projects produce, which would provide the country's 300 billion cubic meters of gas, equivalent to between 80 billion and 100 billion dollars.
The program will provide 20 thousand jobs directly and indirectly in the context of industrial handling of the activities included in the total scheme.
