California, the construction will begin in the largest solar power station in the world

     California began the American Construction of the largest solar power station in the world, and draws government officials, headed by California Governor Jerry Brown to the project site yesterday to celebrate the start of construction work at the station Blyth solar in the Mojave Desert in southeastern state.

 

The project will use mirrors parabolic section to focus the rays of the sun and produce steam to move the turbines, and at the completion of solar power plant will become the largest in the world, will generate more than 1000 megawatts, the equivalent figure is generated by nuclear power plant and enough to meet the needs of 750 thousand home electricity, will be the largest project in the world when it starts operating as the largest station in the world located in Seville in Spain and its capacity of 150 MW only ..

 

Brown said during the ceremony to start construction work at the station that his country will become a world leader in solar energy, and is scheduled to be completed by the plant in 2013.
